Virtual Summer School

DOBA Business School every year organizes a free virtual summer school.
Last year there were over 150 students from 40 different countries participating. Join us this year and get to know people from all over the world.

Cross cultural communication is becoming more and more important in today's business since the success sometimes depends on how good you understand other cultures and social groups. Cross-cultural understanding plays an important part in cross-cultural negotiation, multicultural conflict resolution, customer service, business and organizational communication.

This is the reason for organizing a free Summer School entitled “Creative Cross Cultural Communication” offering interesting lectures and webinars.

Why join?

You will raise your intercultural awareness and understand communication in high context or low context cultures.
You will facilitate an understanding of different possibilities to communicate and spread ideas.
You will be creative in preparing analyses and adapt to ways of communication in your own or different culture and situations.

Course structure

The free course is structured around attractive online activities, individual and collaborative. Course activities are supported by a course tutor throughout the course. Students and tutor will meet in the virtual learning environment Blackboard, where all resources, guidelines and forums are to be found. For technical issues online support will be provided. There are synchronous sessions (webinars) planed.
