We attended the Businet Spring Workshop

The Buisnet network every year organizes a Spring Workshop. This year’s meeting, which was originally planned to take place in Lahti, Finland, was held online due to the pandemic.

The keynote speaker of the event was Nadine Burquel, an international higher education expert, who opened the event on 11 May 2020 with a lecture entitled “The Covid-19 crisis: Lessons learnt for higher education”. During the week meetings of working groups took place, which were also attended by representatives of the DOBA Business School, dr. Marina Letonja and Nina Turčin. Nina is, together with Sven Cerulus (UCLL, Belgium), also a co-chair of the working group Internationalization@Home. This time, the working group focused on the internationalization of the curriculum, the involvement of local students in international activities and the transfer of best practices.
