Dr. Marko Divjak led the students of the doctoral study program in the courses Seminar for Dissertation Proposal Preparation and Seminar for Dissertation Preparation in the academic year 2023/2024.

Upon receiving the title, he stated:

'The news that the students have chosen me again as the best teacher in the doctoral program made me very happy and somewhat surprised because as the academic head of the doctoral program, I know that other teachers also work at a very high level and that the 'competition' is very even. Working with doctoral students is different from working with students at lower levels of study: 1) due to the complexity of the program, the work is certainly more complex and intensive (sometimes also strenuous); 2) due to the relatively small number of doctoral students, the collaboration can be more individualized and tailored to the specifics of individual students; and because of this, we teachers have the opportunity to get to know the students better. Such a way of working is very close to me personally. I am most happy and proud when I see the progress students make during their studies and in the process of preparing their doctoral dissertations. Together with other colleagues, I will continue to strive for high-quality implementation and as effective pedagogical support to students during their studies.'
