From October 2 to 4, 2024, the final conference of the VR4Skills project and the Interuni 2024 conference took place at WSB University in Poland. The event brought together partners from various European higher education institutions to present the results of the VR4Skills project, exchange best practices, and discuss future challenges and opportunities in higher education. Nina Turčin, project leader for VR4Skills from DOBA Business School, also participated and contributed with a presentation titled 'Leveling Skills and Competences through Online Training.'
The focus of the event was on the achievements of the VR4Skills project, which aimed to develop the competencies of non-academic staff using VR environments. Participants were introduced to the project’s results, took part in workshops on the use of virtual reality (VR) in education, and discussed the future of education with VR technologies.
Key highlights of the event:
DOBA Business School played a key role in coordinating the online and face-to-face trainings within the VR4Skills project, contributing with technical support, event organization, and training evaluations. The event was an excellent opportunity for exchanging experiences and establishing new partnerships that will continue to support innovation in higher education.
