In November, DOBA Business School started implementing activities in the international Erasmus+ project, Leaders of the Green Economy, focusing on the circular economy. Led by our partners from the University American College Skopje (UACS) from North Macedonia, and in cooperation with partners from Bulgaria (University of Ruse Angel Kanchev) and Croatia (University of Rijeka), we will focus on strengthening the skills of the circular economy among students, which have been highlighted as some of the most important skills that will be needed in the future to combat climate change, ensure sustainability and protect the environment.
We will organise two Boot Camps and online lectures for students, using learning materials related to the circular economy. The materials in digital format will be made available as Open Educational Resources (OER) in a digital repository, ensuring that we meet the changes associated with digitalisation and promoting new and innovative teaching and learning practices.
The project will also strengthen the competencies of higher education teachers to develop and use OER digital resources in their work. In this way, the project will contribute to the digitalisation of higher education institutions. Furthermore, it will promote the development of university environments in business schools where the concept of the circular economy is being explored.
