This March, DOBA Business School representatives attended the 34th Businet Annual Conference. After almost two years of virtual events of the Businet network, we were happy to attend the conference held in Vilamoura in Portugal.
Our school was represented by Dr Marina Letonja, Head of International Relations, who attended the working group on Entrepreneurship. She was joined by Programme Manager Nina Turčin, who, together with Dr Zeynep Azar from the Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences, held the workshop on How to Design a Blended Course. Nina Turčin also held the meeting of the international working group titled Internationalisation at Home.
Dr Marina Letonja: “As an international network of higher education institutions, Businet offers exceptional opportunities for international connections, cooperation in the development of joint programmes, project ideas and applications for various tenders, international virtual mobility projects, and collaborative research leading to joint publications, which is reflected as an added value for higher education teachers, students and the institution as a whole. Our participation at the Businet conference in Vilamoura in Portugal brought a long-awaited revival of relations and cooperation and encouraged a new spark, which will lead to even more intensive networking, the creation of new partnerships and an increase in project applications and, as a result, also the awarded projects at international level. Held under the motto Reset: Back together in '22, this conference was a festival of good things, of sharing best practices and of joint progress”.
Nina Turčin: “Participation in such conferences contributes to the international reputation of our school and to the transfer of best practices which have a direct impact on the quality of the work of DOBA Business School. In the network, DOBA Business School has been recognised as a successful institution and a reliable partner in international projects and our experience with online learning is highly appreciated.”
