On the occasion of marking twenty years of online learning at DOBA and in Slovenia, we have issued this year’s third issue, a special thematic issue, of Mednarodno inovativno poslovanje = Journal of Business and Management.
This issue brings five new papers on 50 pages, which present twenty years of online learning at DOBA (editorial by Jasna Dominko Baloh, Director of DOBA Business School), an analytical review of literature on gamification, which has proven to be an effective mechanism in e-learning (paper by Assist. Prof. Dr Tomislav Rozman and Prof. Dr Liliana Donath), review of adult participation in learning in digital age, which highlights positive correlations between the participation of adults in learning and the selected variables (paper by Prof. Dr Ksenija Dumičić, Assoc. Prof. Dr Lea Bregar, and Assist. Prof. Dr Blagica Novkovska), usability testing of an online learning platform with the applicability method (paper by Assist. Prof. Dr Darko Števančec and mag. Iris Fink Grubačević), and an analysis of the impact of personality dimensions on study behaviour and study attitudes of online students (paper by Assist. Prof. Dr Marko Divjak, Assoc. Prof. Dr Valentina Prevolnik Rupel, and Dr Tjaša Bartolj).
The authors of the articles featured in this special thematic issue of the DOBA journal again come from various higher education institutions, partners of DOBA Business School, i.e. the School of Economics and Business of the University of Ljubljana, the Institute for Economic Research, the Faculty of Industrial Engineering from Novo mesto, the Faculty of Economics and Business of the University of Zagreb, the Faculty of Economics of the University of Tourism and Management in Skopje, and the Faculty of Economy and Business Administration of the West University of Timișoara.
