About the speaker:
Velimir Srića is a scientist, researcher and consultant in leadership, innovation and change management as well as in digital transformation. He has a bachelor's degree in economics, a master's degree in engineering, an MBA from Columbia University in New York and a PhD in management information systems. His professional life is dedicated to education, research, and consulting. He is a member of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts, and has been engaged in teaching and research around the world as a visiting professor at UCLA in Los Angeles, at Renmin University in Beijing, in Shanghai, and at several universities in Croatia, Hungary, Austria, Slovenia, Bosnia&Herzegovina, Dubai and Montenegro. As a politician, he was a member of Croatian government and President of the Zagreb City Assembly. He is the recipient of the Fulbright and Eisenhower scholarships and served as Croatian representative at UNESCO and OECD. As a consultant he worked for numerous regional and global companies. He is a World Bank expert on change management, a member of the Club of Rome and honorary member of the Croatian Helsinki Committee. He published 96 books, over 400 scientific and professional papers and hundreds of columns in popular magazines. He speaks Croatian, English, French, Italian, Russian and Slovenian.
